Lucille M. Meegan (Anastasi)
Lucille M. (Anastasi) Meegan, 94, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 14, 1923, in Uniontown, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Mecco) Anastasi.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Meegan in 1988; her siblings, Joseph Anastasi, Verna (Anastasi) Del Verne, Frances (Anastasi) Gaggiani, and Anthony Anastasi.
Lucille was a devout member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown. She enjoyed bingo, gambling, and shopping. Above all, Lucille loved to spend time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory, are her brother, James Anastasi and his wife Kay, his sister, Juliette Sansone; her niece and caregiver, Pamela Miller and her husband Robert and their children, Christopher Miller and his wife Gina and Zachary Miller and Fiancé, Nicole Neratka; great nieces and nephews; Gianna, Kynzlee, and Christian Miller; Nephew, Robert Del Verne, his wife Pam, and their daughter Katie; nieces and nephews, Donna Noto and Children, Anthony Anastasi, his wife Connie, and their children, Geannie Sampy, her husband Tom, and their daughters, Mary Lou Sikorski and her daughter, Susan (Anastasi) Lusetti and her daughter, Antoinette Blais, her husband Steve, and their children; sister-in-law, Elaine (Meegan) Linger; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Saturday, July 22, from 6-8 p.m.; Sunday, July 23, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.; and Monday, July 24, until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow on Monday, at 10 a.m. in St Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA.
Entombment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery Mausoleum, Uniontown, PA.
Parish Wake Service will be held at 3p.m. on Sunday.
