Stephen Patrick Mullaney
Stephen Patrick Mullaney, 27, of Dunbar, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was born January 4, 1990, in Uniontown, PA.
Stephen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Mullaney; and maternal grandfather, John J. Ziska (Duda)
Stephen was a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Geibel Catholic High School, Class of 2008, and attended Penn State University. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing basketball and softball, watching the Pirates and the Steelers, and playing his guitar. He had an infectious smile, a generous heart, and was a friend to everyone. He had a great sense of humor and was an excellent public speaker.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Cheryl Snyder and her husband James of Dunbar, PA; his father, Patrick F. Mullaney of Connellsville, PA; step-sister, Julie Anne Wallace, her husband Phil, and their son, Maximus of Diamond, OH; maternal grandmother, Esther Ziska (Baba); aunt, Janice Gillespie, her husband Barry, and their son, Andrew of Atlanta, GA; uncles, James Mullaney and his wife Janet of Erie, PA, David Mullaney and his wife Debby of Connellsville, Thomas Mullaney and his wife Cheri of Connellsville, Francis Mullaney of Cape May, NJ; and several cousins.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Wednesday, August 9, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, August 10, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow Thursday, in St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Ranch Rd., Dunbar, PA, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Father Micah Kozoil and Rev. Father Richard Kosisko as Celebrants.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
